Concrete Lifting & Levelling For Driveways

Driveway Concrete Lifting & Levelling

When it comes to your home, the driveway or parkway is one of the first things people notice. However, if your driveway is cracked or uneven, it can be an eyesore that will make your property less appealing and reduce its value. Polyurethane concrete levelling is a cost-efficient way to restore your driveway to its former glory and help it retain its value. Uneven driveways can also make parking, shovelling and even walking more complicated and unsafe. Concrete levelling is an excellent way to make your driveway look new again and can be done without any major construction work.

When the backfill against the home's foundation wall starts to settle, the metal dowels drilled into the foundation wall are the only thing left holding the driveway up. If the void becomes too large for these dowels to support the weight (or if they fail), the concrete slab will start to settle, crack and sink. Now you have a speed bump into your garage! If these problems are not addressed quickly, the slab will often times continue to sink and start to crack and break. We have lifted driveways as much as 12", but the best way to go is to catch it early. This keeps the repair costs lower and minimizes the amount of damage in the concrete from the ongoing settling.
